About Vintage Mitch
Vintage Mitch is a unique mix of the Topher's, Kevin's and Mario's writing talent and a rare gem amongst vintage Photography. What you read here is literally the first time this collection has seen the light of day or been seen in print since the photography was first commissioned in come cases up to 5 decades ago! All photography is the result of Margret and Dennis of O'Grady Images scanning in and archiving the imagery off of the original negatives. Any vintage photography is a gem, but this is made all the more sparkling by the fact that this Vintage Mitch collection is both vintage but also almost functionally virgin as it literally hasn't been used since its original print decades ago.
Long Story short, when the original photographer "Mitch" sold his business to his protégéé Margret. Margret went on to build her own distinguished career and only a few years ago was Mitch's photography re-discovered. If it sounds like some sort of collector's tale someone you know heard from their cousin in the next state over, it is. The difference is that this tale is true.
A better match could not have happened: Vintage photography turned into a comic strip on a website who's overall focus is on classic television. As if the previous were not already oil found in one's backyard, this well is also deep. The collection currently available to us is only a fraction of the library waiting to be scanned in and archived.
The comics you read are the result of Margret O'Grady kindly allowing TomatoTV.net to use the archive in they way that it first jumped out to Topher, as a humorous comic strip. All pictures tell a story, but product photography like this is ripe for a comic strip storytelling.
TomatoTV.net wants to thank Margaret O' Grady for allowing us to exclusively use this content to bring it to life in the comic strip format. For non comic strip use, all Vintage Mitch imagery is available for what print you need and can be purchased from their website.
